Once it was all set up, which took me about 10 minutes, I was then able to check out books (fairly new and even bestsellers) immediately. See, I found out that you simply needed to download the Public Library’s Overdrive app on your mobile device (for me my iPad) and from there you set the app up by either creating a new account or signing in with Facebook, then enter your library card, as well as Adobe Account if you had one. What I found out made the reader in me oh so very happy. I googled about public libraries and e-books. Long story short, a lot of extra work for not very great or even new books to be read on my Nook.įast forward to the other morning. Ironic that my girls have been doing more reading then me right now, but still I digress.īelieve it or not, I actually used to do read books from the library for free, when I first got my original Nook.īut back then I had to actually first download the book to my computer and then connect my Nook to my computer to transfer the book and the titles weren’t very good either.
